Altere App

addiction recovery reimagined.

Altere is a wearable band and companion app that reimagines addiction recovery through discreet, continuous care. In conjunction with the wearable product, the app tackles addiction recovery, focusing on the social and mental aspects.

The Goal:

With the Altere’s wearable product focusing on addiction recovery physically, the app seeks to help addiction recovery socially and mentally.

Recovery isn’t one-dimensional, which is why Altere offers a complete system designed to support people throughout each part of their journey.

Our goal is to make recovery more accessible by placing essential tools and resources directly in the hands of the user.

Features:

Injection Tracking: Syncs with the wearable device to display injection schedules and ensure consistency.

Milestone Tracker: Encourages motivation by celebrating sober milestones; users can share anonymously with the community.

Refill Reminders: Notifies users when to refill their prescription, helping manage appointments.

24/7 Sponsor Access: Provides on-demand text or call access to recovery sponsors.

Resource Finder: Locates nearby clinics and Narcotics Anonymous meetings based on the user’s location.

Community Support: Allows users to motivate others anonymously, building a digital support system.

The Difference:

Altere reimagines addiction recovery by removing the daily barriers that make staying sober harder than it should be.

By combining discreet, tamper-proof medication delivery with a supportive, resource-rich app, Altere gives users time back in their day, dignity in their routine, and confidence in their progress.

It’s not just a product, it’s a path toward long-term recovery, made more accessible, consistent, and compassionate.

The Team

UX Design cannot be done alone, so I would like to acknowledge and thank Lucilla Fell and Alana Watts for helping develop & create visual imagery for the app, it would not be possible without their talent!
